Korin Gamadji Institute Dreamtime Expo
On Friday 24th of May a group of our indigenous students from the Dr and BS campuses travelled to Punt Rd oval to the KGI Dreamtime Expo. The expo was a chance for our students to connect with other indigenous students from the college and with indigenous students from other schools around Victoria.
The students got to watch the Richmond train and then had the opportunity for selfies and autographs. After that we headed into the Maurice Rioli Centre where we had speakers speak to the kids about the opportunities that open up to them with education. Daniel Riolo, Maurice Rioli Jnr and Marlen Pickett spoke to the students and then Daniel Rioli did a special interview highlighting his work with the Drink Wise Organisation.
